STEP BACKGROUND
The tri-flame logo and the first poster for San Francisco's 2012 Olypic Bid were designed by renowned graphic artist Primo Angeli. Primo created a number of poster ideas representing his vision of the Olympics in San Franciso. He then presented them to Cribbs and Tharp.

STEP OUTCOME
The poster (below) was the final selection. Mr. Tharp incorporated Primo's tri-flame logo into the logotype (above) he designed for the poster program.
